If only
I have seen you so many times
And every time I see you
I fall in love with you all over again
My heart starts to race
My frown turns into a smile
And all my worries are now in my past
When you smile at me my heart melts
You give the sweetest hugs
And I feel complete
Your smile is like a new day
And I know it all will be ok
Your sense of humor is like no other
The ability you have to make me smile
Is all I need from you
Just looking in your eyes
Makes me melt inside
You, yourself is all you need to be
Wouldn’t change a thing about you
The way you comfort me is amazing
Every time we say good-bye
I wish we didn’t have to
I say see you later because it’s never good-bye
Only if you saw me the same threw your eyes
Special world
A special world for you and me
A special bond one cannot see
It wraps us up in its cocoon
And holds us fiercely in its womb.
Its fingers spread like fine spun gold
Gently nestling us to the fold
Like silken thread it holds us fast
Bonds like this are meant to last.
And though at times a thread may break
A new one forms in its wake
To bind us closer and keep us strong
In a special world, where we belong.
A letter to the heart
Dear heart,
How do you know to rush insensibly when my eyes see him?
How do you know to then stop when my mind goes blank?
How do you know to feel whole when he smiles at me?
And then break when i am rejected?
Dear heart,
Why do you put me through this torment or irregular reactions?
The pain that surges through every capillary, rips my body to shreds,
But the happiness you, occasionally, allow mends me,
Im stuck in a constant cycle, secretly i love it.
Dear heart,
You manage to fall, over and over again,
You manage to give yourself away, so easily,
You manage to repeatedly shatter,
You manage to pick yourself up after.
You bring us uncertainty, insecurity and never a constant solid,
Yet we love it, without a heart that acted in so many ways our lives would have no flicker of excitement, our eyes wouldn’t light up, there’d be no bounce in our steps.
Dear heart,
I love you.
Consider
Consider me a memory,
Consider me the past.
Consider me a smile in an old photograph,
Someone who used to make you laugh
Someone you would called when you woke up & went to bed
The one that was there for you when no one else Was
But at the end of the day you did not consider me
You considered yourself
And not what was planed
What we planed
So consider this when all is said and done
Who will be considering you?
I wont reconsider
What I will consider is being happy again
Being at peace
So just consider this I might hurt now
But Not forever
